Library

The library collection has been developed since 1953 and it is focused on the socio-economic geography, physical geography, cartography, sociology and urban studies, and regional geography.
Nowadays, it contains more than 30 000 items of monographies, encyclopedias, dictionaries, wordbooks, anthologies and yearbooks, and over 100 titles of national and foreign periodicals, including special, technical and popular-scientific journals. A substantial part of publications has been gained in exchange with the foreign partners. The library also includes an extensive archive of map collections and historical and national atlases.
